With miles of trails to explore it's the perfect day out in Gloucestershire for all ages. The kids will love the natural play trail, with the opportunity to build dens along the way. There's the Zog activity trail and Woodland adventure play to delight them too. Get up close to the leafy canopy along the Treetop Walkway - it's a great place for photo opportunities!

Or join one of the guided walks of the Old Arboretum - there's usually one every day. It really is the ideal spot for getting closer to nature and enjoying some peace and relaxation. Check out their events calendar for more details. And don't miss their series of amazing concerts at Forest Live in June!

What else we love: Westonbirt, The National Arboretum has over 10 miles of hard paths, suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams and pushchairs, and in most areas can accommodate two side by side. Mobility Scooters are available to borrow free of charge (pre-booked online).

Good to know: much of Westonbirt Arboretum is dog friendly, and in some areas you can let them off the lead (assistance dogs can access all areas). It's also accessible by public transport.
