A Very Special Zoo and Animal Sanctuary in Somerset

Now here's a unique zoo you won't want to miss when planning a day out in Somerset! Tropiquaria Zoo and Animal Sanctuary is a fantastic all weather attraction where you can discover cute, fascinating and sometimes creepy creatures.

Inside the Tropical Hall, Nocturnal House and Aquarium you'll find loads of amazing animals, fish and reptiles from around the world. The building itself is an Art Deco former BBC radio transmitter station originally built in 1933. It's now Grade II listed.

Outside there are 4 acres of animal enclosures, plus two life size pirate ships and adventure castle. There's an indoor play area too, so it's fair to say that there's lots to keep the whole family entertained.
