It was originally designed as a pleasure garden in the 1740s for the owner of Painswick House and his guests. Now you have the opportunity to take in the stunning space, plants, flowers and trees. The stunning views of the Cotswold countryside and magical follies are also worth the visit. It's all wonderfully Instagrammable.

What else we love: Dogs welcome in the garden, cafe and shop.
