History isn't confined to the pages of a book during the Gloucester History Autumn Festival. For two weeks, the city's ancient streets become the backdrop to an inspiring programme of talks, guided walks, exhibitions, performances, and family-friendly events.
With more than 150 speakers taking part, this year's festival welcomes an impressive line-up including David Olusoga, Penny Mordaunt and Caroline Quentin, alongside leading historians, authors, and experts exploring everything from ancient civilisations to modern history.
