Love live music? There's no denying, the UK is home to hugely talented musicians and songwriters. And the country attracts stellar touring international acts, too.

Combining a gig with a weekend away is a great way to see the country. Obviously, London is a good choice, but if you fancy a destination outside the capital, where should you be looking?

Bristol and Birmingham are amazing cities with music venues of all sizes. From the NEC in Birmingham with a capacity of 15,700 fans to the intimate space at John Wesley's New Room in Bristol.

Not to mention the incredible festivals in areas like The Cotswolds, Somerset and Wiltshire.
