Looking for the perfect festive treat for the whole family? The Mozart Symphony Orchestra returns to Bristol Beacon with an enchanting performance of timeless seasonal classics: The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, and The Snowman.

Following last year’s success, The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child are back by popular demand. Just like Peter and the Wolf, each character is brought to life through a different instrument of the orchestra – but can you guess which instrument represents the Gruffalo?

The evening continues with a magical screening of the beloved film The Snowman, accompanied by a live symphony orchestra. Sixteen-year-old rising star Alice Mackenzie will perform the iconic aria Walking in the Air, made famous by Aled Jones.
